#The40thRace from the londonmarathon was probably the hardest race, mentally, I have ever run.  Running alone, in the rain and cold for the whole run was very challenging. I was running 5k laps so I could have access to fluids and food easily. I also had support along the route, with additional supplies, which was much appreciated 😁  I had to keep on changing my jackets as they were getting soaked through. I also did a complete change at the half way point as I was sopping and cold. Unfortunately the cold got to my muscles, and the second half of the race was not as smooth as the first, and I suffered with cramping muscles. It was a run/walk from there, but I stuck true to the weareokhane race team ethos and gave #OnePercentMore all the way to my finish line.  Great to hear a few complete strangers offering words of encouragement on the way round, helped keep me going.  #WeAreOkhane #FitForLife #GetOutThere #iamOutThere #LondonMarathon #Running #marathon #VirtualRunning #Garmin #OnRunning #injinji

Murph and Mobility  A day later than usual, woke up with a sore ankle and zero motivation on Monday, so had later start and an easier session.  Today ankle is still a bit sore so rather than overload it decided to Murph sans vest.  As per usual finished off with some mobility work.  The “Murph”  15 Minutes Hand Bike

Rehab phase 2 has begun.  Heel pins are out and the frame has been reconfigured to put more load on the break site, so no training for a day or so whilst I adjust.  Alas due to data protection rules, no video or pictures of the extraction, but I can say without impunity that it stung a bit. Back on the feet today for as near as I can get to a squat thrust.  Pinned heel is pushing me forward, so my form is pretty crap and on rep three something pinged in my foot, hence the pause and grimace. When many are out in the rain virtually running the London Marathon or at Nuclear Races doing multiple  obstacles on Oblivion laps and you are in the dry at home feeling a bit jealous and in awe. Back on the rings today, grip has improved so time to get a bit more adventurous.
